Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with Real Extent. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

This policy keeps Real Extent safe and lawful for agents, their clients, and everyone they contact. It applies to you, your workspace members, and anything your assistant does for you.

2. Email, texts, and anti-spam

  • Don't send unsolicited bulk email, and don't use the Service to contact purchased, rented, or scraped lists.
  • Follow anti-spam and telemarketing laws, such as CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, and do-not-call rules. Honor opt-out requests promptly. Real Extent stops follow-ups when someone opts out. Don't work around that.
  • Only text people who have agreed to hear from you where the law requires it.
  • Don't impersonate another person, agent, or brokerage, or misrepresent who a message is from.
  • Don't use misleading subject lines or deceptive content.

3. Honesty about AI

  • Don't use the assistant to deceive people about whether they are communicating with AI where the law requires disclosure, and never deny AI involvement when someone sincerely asks.
  • Don't use the Service to create fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements, or to misrepresent properties, prices, or offers.

4. Fair housing and non-discrimination

Don't use the Service to create or send communications, or to make decisions, that discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), disability, familial status, national origin, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. This includes steering and discriminatory advertising.

Never use lead scores or the assistant's suggestions as a reason to treat people differently on a protected basis.

5. Content and data

  • Don't connect or upload data you don't have the right to use, including MLS data in ways your MLS doesn't allow.
  • Don't store Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, bank or card numbers, or health information in notes, memory, or knowledge entries.
  • Never use the Service to send wiring or payment instructions.
  • Don't use the Service to create or send unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or defamatory content, or content that infringes anyone's rights.

6. Security and integrity

  • Don't try to bypass permission settings, approvals, sending limits, usage limits, or other safeguards.
  • Don't try to manipulate the assistant, for example by planting instructions in emails or documents, to act outside your settings or to access other people's data.
  • Don't probe, scan, or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission. If you find a security problem, please report it to contact@aura-technologies.co with "Security" in the subject, give us reasonable time to fix it before sharing it, and don't access or change other people's data.
  • Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, and don't share, sell, or resell account access without our permission.
  • Don't open extra accounts to get extra refunds, or to get around a suspension.

7. Regulated decisions and advice

Don't use the Service to make lending, credit, insurance, employment, or tenant-screening decisions, or to give legal, tax, financial, or appraisal advice.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations. Depending on how serious they are, we may warn you, remove content, pause sending or automations, or suspend or close the account. Where reasonable, we tell you first and explain why, unless the law or a security risk prevents it. You can reply to our notice to appeal, and we will review it.

To report abuse, including spam sent through Real Extent, email contact@aura-technologies.co.
